NRP Finans AS has, in collaboration with Gothenburg-based real estate management company Wilfast, completed an acquisition of Onninen’s main logistics centre in Hyvinkää from Onvest Oy – Finnish, family-owned investment company history dating back more than 100 years. Aventum Real Estate acted as financial advisor to the seller in the transaction.
The logistics centre comprises a leasable area of ca. 40,000 sq m and well over 100,000 sq m of outdoor dispatching and storage area. The total site area is ca. 210,000 square meters.
Aventum executed a well- structured, competitive sales process during which a wide range of domestic and international investors were contacted. Following the process, the property was sold to NRP, Oslo-based Nordic Real Estate Manager having investments of ca. 1.5 million sqm in Nordic logistics properties. The transaction was signed and closed in May 2019. The parties have agreed not to publish the transaction price.
As part of the engagement, Aventum also advised Onvest Oy on a separate transaction in which 5 warehouse stores, mainly leased to Onninen, were sold to Finnish investor.
