Aventum acted as advisor to Grano on the sale of its document and information management services provider SokoPro Oy (“Company”) to a leading Nordic cloud-based information management systems provider iBinder AB (“iBinder”).
Nordic software company iBinder acquires SokoPro, the leading Finnish document and information services business specialising in the fast-growing property technology market.
SokoPro, founded in 1993, is the clear market leader in Finland within document and information management services for properties. Company offers a comprehensive and agile software for document management purposes serving all stakeholders from the first steps of a construction project to end-to-end life cycle management.
The transaction will be carried out as a share deal and will be preceded by the partial demerger of Grano Oy. Divestment of SokoPro enables Grano to focus on its core businesses, value-adding solutions in digital and printed marketing communication. After the transaction, Grano will continue to be the exclusive printing partner and sales representative in Finland for SokoPro and other iBinder products.
The acquisition of SokoPro accelerates iBinder’s growth journey and expands its service offering to pan-Nordic customers. iBinder is majority owned by a leading Swedish investment company Fidelio Capital.
Aventum acted as the financial advisor to Grano on the transaction. Aventum utilised its expertise in sell-side mandates and the software industry as well as its broad network across the Nordics and Europe.
The transaction is expected to close in January 2022.
