Aventum advised Enerim Oy (“Enerim”) and its owners on the sale of its Wholesale Markets business to Volue ASA (“Volue”).
Enerim, a leading service and SaaS solution provider for the energy sector owned by KLAR Partners, has agreed to sell its Wholesale Markets business to Volue. By divesting its Wholesale Markets business, Enerim takes steps towards streamlining SaaS solutions offering. The divestment allows Enerim to enhance focus on strengthening its position as a leading services and software partner for utility companies in northern Europe.
Enerim’s Wholesale Markets business is the Finnish market leader in energy market services with over 50 years of experience. The business line covers a wide portfolio of leading energy market services, and the energy management system EnerimEMS. Wholesale Markets business employs 63 professionals and generated revenue of 9.8 MEUR in 2022. Of the total revenue, around 80% was ARR.
Volue, listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, is a market leader in technologies and services that enable its customers to success in the energy transition. Volue will offer excellent conditions to further grow Enerim’s energy market services and systems in the Nordics.
Aventum acted as adviser to Enerim and KLAR Partners in the transaction. The transaction is expected to close around 30th of June 2023.
