Aventum advised Handelsgillet i Helsingfors in the sale of majority ownership stake in Helsinki CBD office property and in the related renegotiation of existing debt portfolio

Aventum acted as the financial advisor to Handelsgillet i Helsingfors, one of Finland’s oldest associations in the business community, in the sale of 62% ownership stake in office property K23 and in the related renegotiation of existing debt portfolio.

K23 is a unique multi-tenant office and retail property located in Helsinki CBD. The fully let property was built in 1908-1909 and has ca. 2,000 sq m of leasable area.

Aventum executed a well-structured, targeted sales process during which a carefully selected group of primarily domestic investors were contacted. Following the process, the property was sold to Cobbleyard Real Estate, a real estate advisory firm acting for and together with capital sponsors and investors. The transaction was signed in May 2021 and closed in June 2021. The purchase price was not disclosed.
