Aventum advised Metso Outotec in the divestment of Turula factory
Aventum acted as advisor to Metso Outotec on the divestment of Outotec Turula Oy (“Turula factory”) to UAB Arginta Engineering (“Arginta Engineering”), Lithuanian engineering industry and metal processing company.
Turula factory manufactures various types of high value-added equipment and components used in minerals processing and metals refining industries. Turula factory is located in Outokumpu Industrial Park and currently employs some 120 professionals. In 2020, factory’s sales exceeded 30 MEUR.
Via transaction Metso Outotec and Arginta Engineering will deepen strategic co-operation which has commenced already in 2003. Metso Outotec will benefit from Arginta Engineering’s competitive and broader manufacturing platform. Correspondingly Arginta Engineering will significantly increase the production capacity as well as top-quality offering to its Nordic blue-chip customers.
The transaction is expected to be completed on 1st October 2021.
