Aventum advised owners of Duunitori on strengthening ownership base
Aventum acted as adviser to the owners of Duunitori Oy (“Company”) on the sale of the majority of their shares in the company to the Finnish private equity investor Intera Partners.
Duunitori is the leading job board and recruitment marketing company in Finland, founded by Thomas Grönholm and Martti Kuusanmäki in 2009. With some 4.5 million visits per month, Duunitori is the most visited recruitment media in Finland with the leading social media reach through some 500 social media pages and some 700 000 followers. The Company has an impressive track record of annual sales growth of ~70% on average over the last 5 years while maintaining excellent profitability. Duunitori’s net sales reached nearly 14 MEUR in 2021 and the Company currently employs over 90 professionals in Finland and Sweden, where the company launched its Jobbland brand and operations in full scale in 2021.
Intera Partners will through active ownership support Duunitori team in continuing driving the recruitment market in Finland at the forefront of innovation and accelerating international growth in Sweden and other markets. Together with Intera Partners, Duunitori is well positioned and eager to be part of the constantly changing recruiting market.
The transaction closed on 6 July in 2022.
