Aventum advised owners of SARC Architects on strengthening the ownership and partnership base of the Company
Architecture firm SARC Architects (“Company” or “SARC”) strengthens its ownership and partnership base. CapMan Buyout will become a majority owner in SARC to support the growth and development of the Company and three current employees have been appointed as partners. Aventum acted as advisor to the current owners of SARC Architects, who will continue as significant shareholders in the Company.
SARC is an award-winning Finnish architectural firm with over 50 years of wide-ranging and diverse experience within the different fields of architectural planning and design. SARC is specialised in demanding renovation projects, changes in use and development projects for protected sites and investment properties. SARC has received multiple awards for their work in Finland and abroad. For instance, the firm was awarded the Finlandia architecture prize for their design of the new children’s hospital in Helsinki. SARC employs around 80 architecture professionals.
SARC is one of the most respected experts in the field of architecture and built environment, and the Company’s current position and competitive advantages are an excellent foundation for future development. CapMan’s investment will provide SARC with stronger resources to take the next step on the Company’s journey and reach its ambitious aspirations over the coming years.
The transaction is expected to close on 30 June 2022.
